Terms of Service
Last updated August 11, 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using MemoValet, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What MemoValet does
MemoValet turns meeting transcripts and recordings into summaries, decisions, action items, translated captions, and optional exports to tools outside MemoValet that you choose to connect. Summaries and translations are generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete, so you're responsible for reviewing anything before you rely on it or share it.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Record or upload conversations without the legal right to do so, including any consent required by law in your jurisdiction.
- Use MemoValet to store or process content that's illegal, infringing, or violates someone else's rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the transcripts, recordings, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited licenseto process that content solely to provide the service to you (for example, sending it to Anthropic's API to generate a summary). We don't use your content to train AI models.
6. Integrations with other services
Features that connect to Google, Microsoft, Trello, Slack, Notion, or similar services are governed by those providers' own terms as well. We're not responsible for how those third parties handle data once it's sent to them at your request.
7. Disclaimer
MemoValet is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. AI generated content may contain errors. We don't guarantee accuracy, and you shouldn't treat summaries or action items as a substitute for reviewing the original conversation for anything important.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MemoValet won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Termination
You can stop using MemoValet and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of MemoValet after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to adrian.kulatunga@gmail.com.
